Adult choirs

SANCTUARY CHOIR

This adult choir sings at the 11 a.m. worship service.  Generally, the choir sings an anthem and leads the congregation in service music.  Anthems tend to emphasize traditional church music.  All parts (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass) are represented.  The Sanctuary Choir has been invited to participate in several music festivals in Charlotte.

THE WORSHIP CHOIR

This choir sings at the 8:30 a.m. worship service.  Generally, the choir sings an anthem and leads the congregation in service music.  Anthems may be somewhat less traditional than you'll often find in Presbyterian churches.  For instance, the Worship Choir often sings spirituals.  Of course, all songs conform to our reformed worship.
